WHAT OUR YOUTH MINISTRY IS ALL ABOUT
It isn’t easy being a youth today. There are constant pressures to perform academically, measure up to one’s peers, and fit in socially. At First Baptist Louisburg, we welcome all youth to be a part of our fellowship and to feel free to be themselves. We honor their God given gifts and talents by making the youth part of our worship and giving them roles throughout the ministries of our church. We want the youth to know that they are a valued part of our fellowship and that we welcome them to take an active part in what we do. We want to help nurture the youth to be the leaders of tomorrow inside and outside the church doors.
Sunday Morning Bible Study
Each Sunday morning is a chance for our youth to gain a personal insight from God’s word. The youth Bible Study digs into the scriptures and encourages our young people to wrestle with life issues and current events in light of its’ truth. Tough questions are encouraged and relationships are strengthened as everyone has a voice in the lesson. We would love to add you to the discussion!
Youth Dinner
Every Wednesday night we have a dinner just for the youth. This is for anyone 6-12th grade to come and enjoy a home cooked meal from 6-6:30.
Wednesday Night Youth Group
Every Wednesday Night our Fellowship Hall explodes with the energy of Youth Group! It all begins with hangout time and a meal from 6:00-6:30, so come hungry! Then from 6:30-7:30 the youth Group meets. In addition to being with some of the coolest kids on earth, there is much to look forward to! There will be wild and crazy fun games, great music, Bible study, large and small group discussion, and, of course, laughter!
