Kami Minor
Associate Pastor: Youth and Children
One word often used to describe Kami is "energy!" She compares herself to TIGGER because Tiggers "bounce" (and so does she!) Her motto is also T.I.G.G.E.R: To increase God's Glory Everywhere Regardless.
Kami's love of children and youth has been a lifelong endeavor. She couldn't wait to get started, so she held a summer school in her backyard when she was nine years old and has been working with young people ever since. Prior to coming to First Baptist, Kami taught in the Olathe District Schools, trained employees for Sprint, served as the Children's Pastor on the Ft. Leavenworth Army base, served as adjunct staff for the American Baptist Churches of the Central Region, and was the Director of Children's Ministries at Colonial Presbyterian Church.
